Now, the Neem tree is so common in Gh. I know some of its medicinal uses include fighting malaria and typhoid.
A simple way to use the leaves on your hair is to:

Dry neem powder can be mixed with water to make a thick paste to massage onto the scalp. This grainy paste helps to exfoliate, cleanse and nourish the scalp. Leave the paste on the scalp and hair for about 30 minutes before shampooing and rinsing out.

You can also add neem powder to your regular shampoo or conditioner for a quick treatment every time you wash your hair.
For Head Lice
Grind neem leaves and boil in water. wash hair with this water to kill lice.
Grind the neem berry and apply on the head. It kills lice.
Caution
Take care to see that the neem water does not enter the eyes.
