Hairspiration : BECCA - Ghanaian Natural Hair Diva!!!

-->

Personally, I feel that it is important for us as naturals to have some natural haired icons who inspire and motivate us on this hair journey of ours. Most often we in Africa have to look for those natural hair icons elsewhere. In an attempt to find out those people from my home country Ghana who are also natural, I found the sensational Afro-pop singer Becca. One of my natural hair icons is Becca.

This is a brief biography of Becca for those who don’t know her.

Rebecca Acheampong, better known as Becca, first came into the limelight almost as a contestant in the second season of the hit singing competition, Mentor on TV3. She however turned out the opportunity after qualifying into the final 12 due to certain misunderstandings between her management and the organizers of the show. Call it a publicity stunt or whatever but Becca has been able to vindicate her talent and is today one of the hottest young artists in Ghana.

Her debut album, Sugar, scored several hits in Ghana and across Africa. She won a Ghana Music Award for Record of the Year. Her hit, You Lied to Me featuring Kwabena Kwabena earned her four other nominations.

She featured Hugh Masekela a great musician from South Africa on her track I love You and he also gave her directions on some of her tracks. Her record label E.K.B Entertainment and Hugh Masekela's Chisa Records in South Africa are collaborating to have some world tours and an album as well. She has also collaborated with UK R&B star, Keisha White. She has earned nominations in the upcoming 2008 Kora Awards and Channel O Music Video Awards. Becca is an old student of Wesley Girls High School in Cape Coast and Croydon College in London where she attained her certificate in Child Care and Education. Some of her hit songs include, You lied to Me, Heeyba, Sugar. This is her first single was titled "You Lied To Me".

Aside from the fact that she is an awesome singer, she gives me the upmost joy when I see her in her natural hair state which has somewhat become her signature style.
Recently, I saw a video of hers and I was like OMG!!! Her hair is growing!!!!The first time I watched the video, I was just looking at her hair and not paying attention to what she was saying.
I leave you with my very best favourit from Becca, Enjoy!!! Please feel free to comment and join GhanainEmprezz on blogger and AfroDiva Dairies on Facebook!!!!

Thank You Becca!!! Keep keeping it natural!!! And Find your HairInspiration!!!

Actually it is not that hard to download flight simulators.
Nowadays with flight simulators you can have lots
of fun out of these games and besides all this you do not have to spend thousands.

As with most of the electronics, the main enemy of golf simulator is the dust.

Use a cheesecloth to strain the puree and then pour it into an airtight container.
Apparently, it actually lifts up build up from the
root and therefore stimulates hair growth. Sometimes, this process starts from the temples and
goes back, and sometimes it begins from the top of the head.
Since ages coconut oil has been used for curing skin as well as hair problems as
it has anti fungal and anti bacterial properties.
    * Apply oil unto your hair - Run your fingertips through your hair and rub it in
    an even way.
