Wash day 2 || protein treatment
I had another mild wash during the week to prep my hair for yarn twists. I did a protein treatment to strengthen the hair against breakage.
** Applied aphogee 2 minutes reconstructor on dry hair and covered with shower cap for almost an hour.
** Rinsed with cold water and applied keracare humecto creme conditioner for about 15 minutes.
**Applied Aussie hair insurance leave in and sealed with jbco mix.
**applied African pride sheabutter leave in
I'm currently in yarn twists again- affordable, easy to style. I have no plan except to use the opportunity to test the dark and lovely braid line stuff I won.
I'm back in another set of yarn twists. I love yarn twists because they are affordable, light on the head, easy to manage and don't require so much attending to. This one was done by my stylist-Rose-who came over to my place. That was her first time visiting since we relocated so it was quite fun. We used about 8 packs this time round though it doesn't feel heavy at all!
It took us a full day as a result of having to prep the yarn before installation which she did alone. I really love the pain free braiding of Rose.
She used candle to burn and seal the ends to prevent them from unravelling.
Anyway, I ordered for tresemme naturals conditioiner during the week which I've since received so that's out of the product wish list. That list is getting smaller gradually!
