Product Review: Motions Moisture Plus Conditioner

-->
Here's my review of the Motions Moisture plus as requested

Full name: Motions Moisture Plus Conditioner
Price: 15gh
Purchased: Local cosmetic shop at American House/ can be found at Accra mall cosmetic shops
What it says: With Silicone and Panthenol, For medium to Coarse textures. For relaxed, pressed, natural and weaved hair.Radiantly shiny, healthy-looking hair can be yours with Motions moisture plus conditioner. The thick, emollient formula infuses each strand of hair with ultra-moisturizing conditioners to help transform your hair from dry and dull to glam and gorgeous.

Directions: Apply an ample amount, cover with shower cap and rinse after 3-5 minutes.

Some ingredients: Water, mineral oil, Polyquaternium-32, Glycerin...Avocado oil, hydrolyzed silk.

How I Used It:
*Pre poo- applied to hair to serve as a barrier before shampooing
*Co-wash: applied on wet hair to cleanse the hair
*Deep conditioner: applied on wet hair, covered with cap as per instructions and rinsed out after 5 minutes

My Thoughts
*Consistency: Extremely thick which makes applying on dry hair quite tedious. I sometimes diluted with water to make it lighter before application.

*Smell: light fruity smell which doesn't linger after rinsing

*Ingredients: I purchased it for the purpose of "moisture" but when I saw hydrolyzed silk even as a last ingredient, I just knew I wouldn't get the result I wanted - I'd severe protein overload and needed some form of moisture treatment.
Understandably, my protein overloaded hair didn't respond well to this product; however, I recently used it again on the new texlaxed hair and it felt amazingly soft and smooth! In the nutshell, I think experiencing that softness means that it was my hair that had the problem at first and the not the product.

Generally, it's pretty moisturizing though not on the "plus" side.
