Horsetail and Silica For Hair Growth

Image
We are almost done with the ingredients for hairfinity. Today's topic has to do with horsetail and silica. Known by the botanical name Equisetum, horsetail is a prehistoric plant with distinctive hollow stems. Horsetail contains silica, an abundant mineral that helps promote strong bones and healthy skin, hair and nails. Silica is a major constituent of collagen and helps support healthy tissues. Silica is marketed by itself as a general health supplement in several forms, including liquid and powder.( Check our post On Collagen). Silica helps your body absorb calcium. Calcium is the most abundant mineral in your body. It is needed for bone health and the proper function of your muscles and nerves. It is also needed for proper cell signaling -- a communication system that directs cellular activity. Source: http://www.livestrong.com/article/152499-what-is-horsetail-extract-good-for/

Methylsulphonylmethane (MSM) sulphur

Image
Sulfur exists in both mineral and organic forms. Organic sulfur is also called Methylsulphonylmethane (MSM) sulfur. To begin with, sulfur (also known as sulphur) is a chemical element. It is also known as sulfur oxide, which is processed into sulfuric acid. This form of sulfur is poisonous to the body, and cannot be absorbed or digested. Furthermore, Sulfur is often found in volcanic areas, and usually occurs in yellow crystalline form or in mass volume. Organic Sulfur (MSM) On the other hand, Methylsulphonylmethane (MSM) is an organic sulfur compound found in all living plant and animal tissues. It is a white, odorless, crystalline powder. This form of sulfur is 100% organic, and is actually extremely beneficial to the human body. Unlike sulfur oxide, organic sulfur is a food grade form of sulfur  that is absolutely necessary for proper health. MSM sulfur works in the body by supporting the  connective tissues of tendons, muscles and ligaments. Furthermore, organic sulfur (MSM)

Hydrolyzed Collagen For Hair Growth

Image
In the facts about the hairfinity series, we've looked at the claims, what the capilsana complex does and now, we need to look at the hydrolyzed collagen which is part of the exclusive system. Hydrolyzed collagen is composed of small amino acids, which help form new collagen in the body. While there is currently no evidence supporting its many claims, some suggest hydrolyzed collagen is capable of increasing lean muscle mass stores, treating arthritis, and even rebuilding certain organs. The Making of Hydrolyzed collagen Hydrolyzed collagen is collagen that is derived from bovine bone and cartilage. Bovine collagen is a naturally occurring protein found in the cartilage, bones and hides of cows that provides types I and III collagen, the major components of skin, hair, nails, muscles, tendons, ligaments, bones, gums, teeth, eyes and blood vessels. Usually, the bone is crushed, ground, defatted, soaked in acid to remove the calcium, soaked again to break the collagen bonds

Forever Clair Natural Lightening Soap Review

Image
I bought the forever Clair natural skin Lightening Soap for hyperpigmentation as a result  of walking through the sun. If  didn't like how my face especially looked. It's been about a couple of weeks since I started using the fC natural skin Lightening soap for hyperpigmentation,  scars among other. Does it work? The soap costs between 10-20gh depending on the retail shop. I used it twice a day as directed.  You leave it on your skin for 3 minutes before washing off. I did exactly as directed and I did see a huge change in my skin,  especially my face.  Due to this,  I'll be grabbing two more soaps soon plus the body Cream or lotion. It smells ok, very mild and lathers well. I noticed that it lathers  well if you use a wet sponge rather than  on dry sponge. If it's not working for you,  perhaps, you ought to follow the instructions for use. In addition,  you may have to use the whole like for effective results. Does it bleach the skin? No, it removes the dark spots and

How To Choose A Relaxer

Image
It's all about making the right choices so you hair thrives when it comes knowing how to choose a relaxer to suit your needs. We already know of no lye and lye relaxers,  their various components  and uses. However,  even if you choose one of these,  how do you know it will work for you? You certainly need to know your texture. Naturals base their product choices usually on their texture in order to achieve desired results. In the same way,  you need to know your texture to choose from mild relaxer  to strong relaxers. There are relaxers for fine to medium textures and those for coarse textures so know your hair type and use that to help choose a relaxer. Another factor to consider is whether you want bone straight hair or texlaxed. If you want to have some texture, then,  a mild relaxer is best. Sometimes,  it's assumed that no lye relaxer processes less faster but there are some which actually work faster than the lye. The last tip on how to choose a relaxer is your budget. L
